In the traditional real estate model, buyer representation is typically paid by the seller through a commission offered in the listing.

When you work with 5K Realty as a buyer, we follow this same structure whenever possible. If the seller is offering compensation to the buyer’s agent, that is how we are paid.

If the seller does not offer compensation, our fee for buyer services is $5,000 or 1% of the purchase price, whichever is greater.

A quick note on new construction

If you’re considering new construction, most builders have strict registration policies. To protect your ability to be represented, it’s important that I either go with you on the first visit or schedule the appointment for you in advance. This is standard practice with almost every builder community and ensures you’re properly covered if you decide to move forward later. Having worked extensively on the new construction side, I know how these policies work and can help you navigate them correctly from the start.
